We all are one

This brings out the idea that idea that are all one thought we speak different languages, consume different foods and follow different customs.

Our country is made up of three physical divisions. The northern part of India extends from the Himalayas to the Vindhya mountains. The area from the Vindhya mountains in the   northern part of Krishna river is called the Deccan Plateau. The area to the south Plateau, from the Krishna river to Kanyakumari, is like a peninsula. These three divisions have been the play-fields of Indian
history. Many efforts have been made to join the south with the north. But very few have succeeded. Sage was the first to cross the Vindhyas and impart his message to the people in the south. Lord Rama crossed the vindhyas to attack Lanka. Rama had created unity between the north and the south. This unity remained even during the Mahabharata.
The kings of the south had attended the yagna of Yudhishtira. They had also participated in the Kurukshetra war. The north as well as the south was under the rule of Chandragupta, Ashoka, Vikramaditya and the Mughals. But this unity did not last long. Whenever selfish, weak kings came to the throne, this unity was broken.

Hatred and internal strife are powerful in India today. Even big rivers and hills found in this country, divied the country into different parts. In a way they create the felling of regionalism. Ours is a large country. The climate of Kashmir is similar to the climate in central Asia. The physical features of the people in Kanyakumari are similar to that of the people of srilanka. Whilethere are heavy rains in Cherrapunji, the Thar desert hardly gets any rain.Ther is vast different in te food and dress habits of the people of india because of the climate. We cannot sideline these different and have a national mannerism. It roti and dhal is made the national food, then the Punjabis wil be happy. But the people of Bihar and Bengal will be unhappy, Similarly, if slippers are made compulsory for all Indians, then the Kashmirs will be in trouble, because it is not possible to climb the hills wearing slippers.

There are many languages in our country. This has made us strangers. If a north Indian goes to the south, he will face the problem of language. The different languages are an obstacle to our national unity. Thanks to device given by science, we can easily cross any river or hill. If there is right in one part of the country we can send food grains form the other parts.

Every country has its own cultural features. Africans are black while Indians are not drak. We may wear European dresses. But we are easily identified when we are among Englishmen. We do not easily mix with people of other countries. Indians have their own identify. This is the specialty of Indian culture. We all should grow like a tree.
